I'm a southern girl who is trying to rebuild a life after ending a very long, very hard marriage. Apparently I am doing this by spending way too much money on coffee! To add to the insanity, I now teach middle school math! . . . Thank you for the comments, y'all. I really liked this photo, too, and thought it went well with the quote. My thought was that this once a shiny star that decorated a new building. Remove the shine, let age creep in and throw in a few cracks, is this any less beautiful? Of course not. Now it's beauty with depth and character.
