That Didn't Take Long
Wow, that didn't take long. I had a great phone call with my friend and now I feel human again!It was one of those phone calls where we talked about everything and nothing and it was apparently exactly what I needed. Thanks special girl!

I'm glad you found a way to work things out. I know when you feel like that, it seems you can't climb back out of the hole. That's awesome that you have a friend who can lift your spirits like she did!
Oh gosh.. how wonderful to have a friend like that to help you through a rough patch.
Can she call and chat with me too? I need a friend like that today.

Seriously.. I'm glad you got whatever was hurting you settled. I've had those feelings before and they just seem to fester if you let them.. thank God for truly good friends.
I'd just mention that the craziness that went on over the weekend will one day seem like a hiccup----I went through it too, and it was horrible and gut wrenching. And then, I came to the realization that each parent will teach each child who they are. It's almost miraculous like that. Good begets good, so keep being good. Monkey Boy really is the karma.
It's going to be a crazy time for us for awhile. I'm reminded again and again for the need for patience, the need to keep pushing through the bad times, and most importantly the need to remember that his thing is not because of me, but in spite of my best efforts. We have such a growing process before us, I'm in your corner-- as I know you are in mine. We are good, we are ok and we will be the better for all of what befalls us. Dang--Liv's so smart--listen to her.
