Presenting . . . Monkey Boy
Monkey Boy auditioned for our local production of Peter Pan. Guess what? He got a principle role as John Darling! This was the first time he's ever auditioned for anything and there were 86 people auditioning for the different parts. He's so excited. I'll try to post photos as the play progresses.

Way to go! Congratulations to you both.
Impressive! Congrats to Monkey Boy!
Woohoo! Congrats Monkey Boy!
It's great that he's brave enough to engage in something like that at such a young age.
Thanks Rick and Terri.
Ali, this child is fearless about everything except large dogs and bugs. You have to realize that he is nuts and has broken both bones in each arm and his femur (that was the summer of the half body cast) during three seperate events pulling a variety of stunts. He also managed to get a mild concussion trying to fly while we were on vacation once (his theory as to why he failed: he didn't hold his hands just like Superman does!). As far a personality, he was instructing his karate class as a black belt when he was 6 and once I had to physically remove him from a stage after he was through assisting with a magic show in NYC Central Park! Trying out for a play is one of the more tame things he's done! When people ask me where he gets his energy from, I tell them he sucks it out of me!
Please tell him congrats from me. Getting into something where so many others auditioned is a huge achievement. As a performer, I applaud him! Way to go Monkey Boy :) Break a Leg!
